NEX’ COUP DE POUCE

NEXSide is the centre of our company... it creates our company culture and involves everybody.
Our Company Culture emphasises the role and position of each employee who has his/her specific skills and identity. We use different events, communication tools and projects so that everyone feels part of the company.
Come and Discover the Nex Spirit !

NEX' COM
Formal or informal communication is essential to create links between consultants as they work and live far from the Head Office.
At Nexeo, we are attentive thanks to:
- Our Intranet,
- Our Newsletter
- Nexeo on Facebook,
and all our regular informal or formal conversations...
Where life is good, consultants do not hesitate to express themselves!

NEX' NOVA
You want to participate, to develop within a dynamic developing company! So do we! Creativity can help consultants' personal development and this makes Nexeo progress.
A few examples...
The collaborative e-learning platform
Our e-learning platform was created as result of an idea from two of our consultants.
It was created in September 2008 and designed to pool consultants' knowledge and experience and to combine skills to help employees continue learning. The training courses may concern technical, functional or personal skills. A training committee ensures that the courses remain high quality, interactive and accessible.
It is a group project that encourages team spirit and communication: all employees, including head office employees can be either a learner or a trainer.
The .NET Competency pole : NEXDOTNET!
This division is managed by two consultants who are Microsoft specialists. The aim is to set up a .NET technology watch. It allows consultants to share their experiences and exchange with other C# enthusiasts and increases our links with Microsoft.

NEX' STEP
Because it is important to involve everyone in order to grow and develop we have a group project: Nex' Step. We organise meetings to discuss important subjects with head office members, consultants and managers. The subjects may be for example internal communications or how to encourage consultants' loyalty.

NEX' EVENTS
The Workshops
These are two-hour meetings where we discuss various Capital Markets or computer engineering topics. They take place at the head office and are managed by an expert consultant who wishes to share his knowledge.
Inter-account lunches
Our Sales team is always in the field. They are important in creating links between consultants that work for different customers as well as between the head office and consultants. They encourage discussion and communication by organizing informal lunches where they bring together consultants from different accounts.
Management Team Lunches
Once a month Antoine DARCET, Nexeo's CEO and Philippe SMOLDERS, Nexeo's Managing Director invite a few consultants for lunch to exchange views and to get to know each other better.
Parties
Two or three times a year we organize parties in attractive settings. The aim is to enjoy ourselves and especially to share more than just our day-to-day work.

NEX’ COUP DE POUCE
Nowadays everybody should be interested in sustainable development if we want to create a better world. Nexeo therefore supports the Coup de Pouce association. Its projects include public health, education or social activities (building schools, renovating dispensaries, pedagogical training...)
The Coup de Pouce charitable association was created in 2001 and brings together volunteers to travel and help with sustainable development projects on all continents (Africa, Asia, South America...)
The association has successfully completed 31 « coups de pouce » with a total of 331 volunteers.
Coup de Pouce organizes voluntary missions to provide temporary help for local partners with long term projects.
These missions are managed in association with local populations.
A Mission lasts 15 days and brings together 8 to 12 volunteers.
